I first met katie through my friend, michael – he had completed an interior design job at hooked and asked me to come to ocean city to photograph his work. katie is the catering manager for all of the restaurants and she was there to help me out in whatever way that she could. we traded contact info, I sent her some promo photos, and we became facebook friends. then last fall, she asked me to come to hooked once again - but this time it was to photograph their new (and absolutely delicious!) menu offerings. not a bad gig! I also learned that she was expecting and was SO happy for her and when she reached out wanting a maternity session, I couldn’t wait. I met up with her, tom, and tom’s son, liam at their home on a beautiful afternoon. I was grateful that we were finally able to work together.. mother nature had put to stop to our plans for several previously scheduled sessions – snow?! in april??? but it was worth the wait. I am so very happy for all of you and look forward to meeting your baby boy <3 much love to you all!
